webSockets in JMeter

Ind007
Hi All,
I am load testing a web application which uses web sockets for data lifting(Uses Kazzing gateway). We need to read that data for correlation. Did anybody tried to implement stomp client from jmeter. I know we have java client api ... I have no suceess with BSF sampler either.

Did you manage to do the load testing for your requirement?

JMeter doesn't support WebSockets out-of-the-box, you will need to install the corresponding plugin - WebSocket Sampler in order to add the support. The plugin can be installed using JMeter Plugins Manager.

See WebSocket Testing With Apache JMeter  article for more information on testing WebSocket-powered web applications using JMeter.

P.S. BSF test elements are deprecated in the latest JMeter versions, consider using JSR223 instead.

Hi Glinius,

Thanks for your reply.

I have already added Jmeter Plugins Manager. However unable to listen to Websocket. Would it possible to share the JMX that you have already acheived the requirment. That might help me to progress further.

Requirment:  We have to trigger the REST Webservice and Listen to Event (Based on the Web Service Response) backend would trigger the event and pushes response back then we need to wait and read the JSON response and validate and re-trigger another Event and Webservice to application.

I am poor in Java so If you have already implemented could you please help me to achieve the same in my current project.

Thanks in advance.
