jp@gc – UDP Request - kg.apc.jmeter.samplers.DNSJavaDecoder - recursive DNS query

Lars Van Casteren
While using Sampler “jp@gc – UDP Request” together with Data Encode / Decode class: “kg.apc.jmeter.samplers.DNSJavaDecoder” to do a DNS lookup I noticed the request defaults to a non-recursive DNS query (0x0000 Standard Query).
Is it somehow possible to change it to a recursive DNS query (0x0100) ?

Thanks,
L

This is a third party plugin and has not been developed by the Apache
JMeter project. You might get more help on the support form for
JMeter-Plugins.

I am curious, though. What do you want to achieve in the first place? Do
you want to load test a DNS server?
