Hi Team,
As part of performance testing carried out for response time taken to download the PDF we are facing below issue, could you please help and do the need full.
Query – The response displays as “We’re sorry, we could not find the page you requested” for the action performed by clicking on download button.
Could you please let us know how to write the http request in Jmeter to capture the response time for downloading pdf?
Test Steps :
- Launch the URL
- Enter credentials and login
- Navigated to home page
- Navigate to downloading the pdf page
- Click on download button.
Note : It’s a code generated PDF. Hence no downlink link/url is provided on the page.

We have recorded test script using blaze meter as well as Test script recorder.
We have tried correlating the values for the scenarios using ‘regular expression extractor’.
We have tried using ‘save response to a file’. No pdf was downloaded.
We have tried trial and error method
We have observed that width and height of the button has captured instead of action to be performed.
Thanks and Regards
Azim Shaikh
