Non-GUI mode reporting issue - hanging after certain hours

Lily Nguyen
Hi everyone,

I am running a Load Test with 910 users , 1 master, 7 slave servers,  and
max run time set for 8 hours.
The structure of my script is basically as follows:

User login
WHILE LOOP:
       1.  User does action 1.
       2.  User does action 2.
       3.  User does action 3, etc.
       JSR223 Sampler:  Check if reach 8 hours yet

 Because i was sending a lot more requests than production statistics, i've
used the Constant Throughput Timer and attached it to the "Check if reach 8
hours yet" JSR223 Sampler.  I set it to 0.01 - all active threads (shared)

Ran it in non-GUI mode. The report was going just fine for the first 3.5
hours of test.  Then it just stopped reporting and came back after 6:40
hours ?  So basically the non-GUI report looks like this:

summary = 138751 in 3:30:40 = 11.0/s  Avg: 146  Min:  0  Max: 27296 Err: 0
(0.00%)
summary+ 124 in 00:01:02 = 2.0/s  Avg: 84  Min : 0  Max 502  Err: 0 (0.00%)
Active: 903  Started: 905 Finished: 2
summary = 139389 in 06:40:38  = 5.8/s  Avg: 145  Min: 0  Max 27296 Err: 0
(0.00%)
summary+ 419 in 01:20:00 = 0.1/s Avg: 4  Min : 0 Max: 475 Err: 0 (0.00%)
Active : 512  Started: 911 Finished: 400
summary = 139808 in 08:00:38 = 4.8/s  Avg: 145 Min: 0  Max 27296 Err: 0
(0.00%)

Could someone please tell me why the non-GUI reporting just hang in the
middle like this?  I've check on the servers side and there is nothing of
concerns in term of CPU, memory, etc.

Thank you very much!
