Jmeter 5.4.1 - JMX file - XML DTDs and schema validation

Shay Ginsbourg
Hi,

Is there a formal DTD or XML schema document for the Jmeter JMX file type?

I didn't find it within the source files.

Thanks.

Looking at  JMeter wiki
<https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/JMETER/JMeterFAQ#JMeterFAQ-IsthereaJMXSchema/DTDavailable?>

If you want to generate JMeter test plan programmatically I would rather
suggest sticking to i.e.:

 1.  JMeter Java DSL <https://github.com/abstracta/jmeter-java-dsl>
 2.  JMeter Ruby DSL <https://github.com/flood-io/ruby-jmeter>
 3.  Taurus tool
<https://www.blazemeter.com/blog/taurus-new-star-test-automation-tools-constellation>
 4. Using  JMeter API <https://jmeter.apache.org/api/index.html>   directly
