JMeter says javax.jms.JMSSecurityException: invalid name or password though the correct JMS credentials are given

Anil Venkatappagari

Hi - I am using JMeter 3.2 r1790748 and trying to Load test JMS Queues/Topics. So, I tried using 2 different Samplers/options to achieve this,

Option# 1: JMS Publisher:

1). Tried using JMS Publisher by populating all the necessary fields including User and Password fields.

2). When I tried executing the test it throws the error message saying "Response message: javax.jms.JMSSecurityException: invalid name or password". Attached is the test plan and JMS log.

As the above sampler did not work...so I tried using the below sampler,

Option#2: JMS Point-to-Point:

1). This sampler does not have username and password fields. So, I tried using JNDI properties file where I updated the user.properties file by adding an uncommented line user.classpath=C:/apache-jmeter-3.2/workspace/jndi.properties.

2). And I have below data in jndi.properties file,

java.naming.factory.initial=com.<CompanyName>.mi.decorator.jms.CompanyName>TibcoInitialContext

java.naming.provider.url=ldap://apptstldap.corp.<CompanyName>.com/ou=messaging,dc=corp,dc=<CompanyName>,dc=com

java.naming.security.principal=<I gave user name here>

java.naming.security.credentials=<I gave password here>

3). And I left JNDI Properties section in JMeter empty.

Can you please help me with at least one of the above ways so that I can get this working?

Thank you very much,

Anil
