Internet safety rules for children

aglayart

1. Never reveal personally identifiable information on the Internet, such as address, telephone number, name, school location, parents' names. Websites or other online services may ask children for information in order to enter contests or receive free gifts. Some websites do not allow access unless the user gives them personal information. However, once personal information is given, it is important that your children understand that their privacy may be compromised.

2. Be careful when designing your website. Many children now have their own personal websites. Children should be aware that they should never leave their home address, telephone number or personal photo on the site. If children want to receive information from visitors to their site who want to contact them, they can post email addresses. However, children should be aware that they may receive unsolicited emails to their email address. They must be very careful when opening any email from unknown addresses. If children receive messages that are threatening or sexual, they should inform their parents immediately.

3. Always inform your parents when they come across anything on the Internet that makes them feel uncomfortable

4. Never, under any circumstances, agree to meet face to face with a virtual acquaintance with whom you corresponded on the Internet without parental permission. If the meeting does take place, it should be in a public place and the parents should always accompany the child.

Unfortunately the content of some internet sites is shocking to me.   Not all of this is pleasant to watch and adults and especially children.
To protect my child I installed a mac keylogger https://www.refog.com/mac-keylogger.html on his computer.
The software is designed perfectly for use on home computers. You can make sure your children are not going to illicit sites, downloading music illegally, or chatting with dangerous people. You can read chat conversations, check the screenshot history, and look at a list of visited web sites from your children's computer activity. The Refog Keylogger provides a full-range of versatile surveillance features for the home.

In addition, troubles and dangers are everywhere, not only on the Internet. Therefore I decided to install cell phone tracker https://www.hoverwatch.com/ . Thanks to this tool, I can track the location of my child, find out all the information from his phone and keep abreast of his Internet activity
