Creating custom component

Chad La Joie-2
Is there any documentation about how to go about creating custom
components (samplers, processors, etc)?  My guess is, to implement them,
you just implement the appropriate interface and put your custom code on
the classpath.  How do I get my options to show up in the menus of
components though?  Thanks for the help!

If you check jmeter out from cvs, you'll see a xdocs/extending directory
with a file called jmeter_tutorial.pdf.  This file is very recent and
talks about how to write your own JMeter components.

Great! Thanks for the pointer to the document.  I noticed there isn't
any specific directions to processors, which is what I need to write.
If there anything I find I need to do for those, that isn't reflected
here, would you guys like me to write it up and send it to you?

We would very much welcome feedback and/or extra sections for the
tutorial.
